Inishmore is the largest of the Aran Islands. The bumpy ferry ride to the island was extremely uncomfortable with my little sea sickness. After a bottle of coke, I felt so much better and started eating. I tried their shepherd's pie, which was much better than I imagined. We got on a bus and drove along the coast and some people in our group rented bicycles. We also saw the dance of desire, Ragus, which basically is Irish stepdancing. We got to sit in the second row and those kids really knew how to put on a good show and moved their feet really fast. Shoppers were everywhere for their famous sweaters. When we returned to Galway, we visited the Galway cathedral and strolled down the pedestrian mall and that night, we watched Rose of Tralee on TV, which is like a Miss America beauty contest. It was a good day.
